The UC Santa Cruz Campus Natural Reserve was established with the goal of protecting a representative sample of the diverse vegetation communities and natural features that exist on the UCSC campus.  Incorporating these areas into the Campus Natural Reserve enables students and faculty to to learn study and enjoy the diverse flora and fauna of our campus. The pages to the left describe the diversity of these habitats and organisms.
